SpeedSix
was founded in late 2002 to develop and market visual effects
software plugins for high-end film and TV post-production.
The company is privately owned and funded by people with many
years experience of image processing, 3D animation and visualisation.
This experience has combined to produce the world-renowned suite
of visual effects plugins – Monsters; the most comprensive
set available for high-end post.
2005 saw the introduction of a second range – Raptors;
which now includes a sophisticated retimer, a package of lens
tools, and the fluid-dynamics effects set – Fluidz.
Based on a farm in the rolling hills of Surrey just outside
London, SpeedSix is light-years away from the thick of it, but
always right there.
